The gold shirt
![]() |
An Indian man has bought one of the world's most expensive shirts, made with more than 3kg of gold and worth $250,000. His is an extreme case of an Indian obsession with the precious metal. Datta Phuge's nickname is "the gold man", and it's easy to see why. His knuckles, neck, and wrists are weighed down by the precious metal - signet rings, chunky bracelets, and a medallion that even an Olympic champion might envy. And on top of that, draped resplendently around him, glittering in the light, is a shirt of gold. Weighing a staggering 3.3kg (about 7lb), it cost him a cool quarter of a million dollars (£162,000). |

Fatboy Bean Bags
![]() |
Looking for a beanbag that’s suitable for lounging around the house, sleeping on and that can be taken outside when you want to sunbathe in the summer? The massive Fatboy: The Original beanbag is great at doing all these things. The Fatboy is ridiculously versatile, and looks great in a load of different scenarios. It is massive and moulds to the shape of your body, for maximum comfort. The Fatboy is wonderfully malleable, so can be made into a bed, seat or cushion. The Fatboy is made from specially coated nylon, which is super strong and easy to clean. This means that the Fatboy is just as suited to the outdoors as it is inside the house. The Fatboy is also extremely eye catching due to its simple but stylish looks. It is available in a range of different colours, from a classic blue or red all the way through to a cool camouflage. Also, as it is made from a specially coated nylon the colours will never fade. Although they are quite expensive they are worth having simply due to the amount of different situations they can be used in from gaming, watching a movie or reading through to being outside while you sunbathe. They are a timeless classic that’s worth the money especially if you enjoy lounging about or having a lazy moment of down time. |

Musuc Bag
![]() |
The Musuc bag is a sleeping bag, which allows you to walk around in it. This is down to it’s innovative design that is in the shape of your body. When the Musuc Bag arrived for review, I was so excited, and after a cosy nap on the sofa whilst listening to my music I really began to see what all the fuss was about. The Musuc bag isn’t just a remake of its older brother the Selk Bag. The Musuc Bag comes equipped with all the orignal features of the Self Bag, whilst also including a specially placed MP3 pocket that allows you to access your iPod with ease. This pocket is located on the chest and is cushioned. I felt my iPhone was well protected in the pocket and was not at risk when I rolled over. It just seems that the designer Rodrigo Alonso has taken all factors into account with this brilliant invention. The Bag is Made from nylon and is equipped to keep you warm in very cold temperatures, whilst it is also a must have for lounging on the sofa. The bags main feature is that you can move! Sit, stand, walk, roll and even dance round the campfire As well as being able to move the bag has a hood that incorporates an elasticised strap that you can tighten to keep you warm so no part of your body is exposed to the elements. The Bag has rubber feet so you can walk on almost any surface and not erode away the bottom of your bag, so when you need the toilet in the middle of the night, no longer will it be a struggle to leave your tent. Just stand up and walk, without taking off your sleeping bag. The Bag comes in four colours: pink, blue, yellow and black. The suit is designed for cooler temperatures and the specifications recommend that, to remain comfortable you should keep within the -7°C to -2°C, and at the most extreme -13°C, meaning that you will be comfortable camping on even the coldest winter nights. My initial thought was that the bag would be near impossible to get into, but I was wrong. With a large opening on the front of the sleeping bag, the bag couldn’t be easier to access. Your legs and arms just slide in with ease and you are comfortable in no time! I also thought how will I be able to do anything when I am cocooned inside it? Once again my question was answered! With reversible zips where the hands are, your hands can just pop into the open, ideal for holding a The bag weighs about 1.4KG – 2.2KG depending on the size, is the size of a normal sleeping bag. I really can’t fault the bag although more pockets would be useful! |

Animal Onesies
![]() |
Onesies have been back in fashion recently. Well when I say in fashion I mean that more in the sense of chilling at home (or rather keeping warm), hanging out and generally not leaving the house. The more daring wearers occasionally venturing out to a nearby shop for some milk or something. Primark onesies have been particularly at the forefront recently, with the monkey outfit featuring prominently at fancy dress parties across the country. However if you're willing to spend a bit extra, then you can get something incredibly cooler and of a much higher quality. Kigs do some of the best onesies known to man. With one look at the flying squirrel on the left I'm sure you will agree. They're perfect for standing out at fancy dress parties or for lounging around at home in, as opposed to freezing in your pants. The range has everything from chickens and dinosaurs. Not just confined to Noah's ark though, with a range of character based onesies also available, think buzz lightyear or more festivally snowmen (pretty sure dinosaurs were not on Noah's ark but whatever) Check the whole range out here. Decent gift for a boyfriend/girlfriend if they have a sense of humour and are worth the price range of about £30-£40.

Occupy All Streets - Rocawear
![]() |
Occupy All Streets. Jay-Z's controversial new t-shirt, directly supporting the current opposition to bankers and occupation of Wall Street. Pretty self-expalnatory. Been causing a stir for some reason. Jay-Z not being in the 99% in financial trouble being one of the main reasons. The ambiguity around whether 'the cause' will get any money from it another. Whatever! I like it. Have a look at it on Rocawear here. |

Disturbing London
![]() |
'I've got so many clothes I keep some in my Aunts house. Disturbing London baby we're about to branch out.' ...and it is indeed. Tinie Tempah's clothing range Disturbing London has 'branched out' with some new lines and more coming soon. So it seems that after a few years of talking about it, his fashion range may finally be kicking off. You would have seen the man himself exhibiting some of the gear if you've seen him perform or tour in the last few months. Will he follow in the footsteps of Jay-Z - Rocawear owner, renowned entrepreneur and rapper, or will this assault on the fashion world be a step too far for the well-dressed 'Written in the Stars' singer? Make up your own mind and take a look at his stuff here.

Supremebeing
![]() |
Supremebeing has improved massively in the past year or so. As a brand it used to be all about bright colours, cartoony characters and standard polos (of which I had a fair few) Now though, it seems to have matured as a brand with some really cool looking t-shirts, jackets and jumpers. They also have a new initiative called the White Canvas Project, which sees the brand team up with some cracking new age artists to design prints for their t-shirts. Justifying their quote 'many artists are not restricted to canvas in the traditional sense.' Check out the WCP here. My personal favourite has to be 'SheOne' Here is the full online store. I want two of everything. |

Kanye West Fashion for women
![]() |
Jay-Z, Tinie Tempah and Lil Wayne all have (or are going to have in LW’s case) their own clothing range. So it’s not surprising that fashion and rap icon Kanye West is planning to do the same. What is surprising though, is his target audience. Whilst Rocawear (Jay-Z) and Disturbing London (Tinie) are more urban styles aimed predominately at men, Mr West’s new venture is a high class womenswear. It debuted last Saturday at Paris fashion week. Few would think that the egotistical Power singer would be successful in such an industry, and would rather be playing connect-4 with Beyonce or interrupting award ceremonies than put any serious time and effort in. However, the Daily Mail have reported that he is very much involved. Kanye was spotted buying £14,000 worth of materials for the range in a small London fabric shop. It has also been revealed that he had an internship at Louis Vuitton at some point in the past. I’m trying really hard to incorporate some sort of clever Kanye-related line to end this on but I can't really think of anything. So I'll conclude by saying that the range has had fairly mixed reviews anIMMAA LET YOU FINISH BUT BEYONCE HAD ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS OF ALL TIME. Ohhh.

You Are Your Suitcase
![]() |
The charge for taking luggage on flights is escalating higher and higher by the day. Furthermore, there is an extra fine if your luggage exceeds the allocated weight at airports. The solution? The Rufus Roo. A bizarre jacket with six huge pockets, which supposedly is sufficient enough to carry everything you need without the need for pricey luggage (evidently with the exception of your surfboard if the smirking gent on the left is anything to go by) The website boasts a ‘sky high demand’ for the ‘stylish’ coat, priced at £29.95. So, is it worth wearing this... well let's be honest, hideous jacket, to save money on flights? Personally, I wouldn’t be caught dead in one. |

Balenciaga Smells amazing!
![]() |
We all like to smell good.. well at least I hope so! Finding that perfect scent is like finding a needle in the haystack. A perfume should represent you and make you feel good and confident. Luckily I didn't have to worry since my perfect scent was found in a Vanity Fair Gift Bag. Yes, I was lucky enough to attend the annual party at vanity fair.. I have to say the gift bags were amazing! But a real Highlight was the Balenciaga Perfume: Balenciaga Paris Eau De Parfum The well known parisian designer is very pricey and of course so is the perfume. Marked around £80 the perfume is not cheap. I was glad to get mine for free! (the magic word) but you probably weren't. So you'll probably want to get over to harrods to purchase the must desired perfume. So to smell hot this season grab the new season perfume! Bound to be as classic as Chanel number. 5 or Miss Dior (which also smells amazing! ) love, Need To know ;) |

Festival Fashion
![]() |
I've been to few festivals over the last couple of years ranging from small scale to the three dayers and thought I should share my (limited) words of wisdom of the fashion must haves and no no's (from personal experience)!!! At most festivals everyone tries to look uber trendy but you have to remember you're basically partying in a field and comfort comes first...personally I think the hottest chicks and chickens are the ones that ooze effortlessness...skinny jeans and an old T-Shirt! Having said that pretty floral dresses (still in season this year) with big chunky boots or wellies are still winners...DEF avoid flip flops - one things for certain in the UK is its going to rain at some point - and horrid muddy feet are not that attractive plus you run the risk of getting your toes torn off when everyone gets up to dance! To help avoid the welly rub wear over the knee socks..(guys dig this look when worn with hot pants!!) If you're staying the night and going without luxuries remember to take the face wipes and keep makeup to the minimum - mascara and lipglosses can fit into a bag easily! And lastly just don't wear anything to important or expensive as it may get ruined...New Look, Primark and DP are doing great festival gear at the moment at good value so get shopping and start partying!! xxx |

Watch Out
![]() |
We’ve picked a few conversation starters. They’re not exactly your flashy Omegas or Tags but we'll save that for the serious section. These will give you something to talk about when somebody says the dreaded “sooooo…” 1. JCDC Red Pop hours Watch £129.00 And now for the boring stuff; Well the first one looks like lego, that’s it’s special asset. The phosphor watch is the most interesting, although in the photo it may look like a toy, that’s because it’s made using electronic ink which makes it look like paper (because it pretty much is) if you want to find out more about the way it works visit here. The large display is beautiful and chrome finishing on the sides adds a touch of flash. The Rubber player is made out of rubber, I know crazy! Oh and it has no numbers. but it does contain a diamond, a real one. And remember diamonds are a girls best friend. The LTD is more of an in your face, “I’m crazy, deal with it” watch. It’s got a lot going on but if you’re out raving in tight white skinny jeans and a plain white T then it should suit. The last is the Black Dice guru watch, which has a curved LED display which looks pretty sexy. If you’re not a fan of bright coloured watches then the black is sleek and stylish. Share |
